Travel family of 5

Going from the all American “white picket fence” dream, caught up in the lifestyle of “what’s supposed to be” to a new way of life. We want to show you our journey through sharing the ups and downs of our new found life; traveling around the US fulltime in our 42 foot toyhauler fifthwheel.

What RV did we choose? We first started traveling full time in a Grand Design Reflection, bunkhouse. After a year, we switched to a Grand Design Momentum 385 toyhauler. We switched the master bedroom into a kids room and the toyhauler into the master. There’s also a loft in the kitchen for our oldest so it provides more space for our kids than the bunkhouse.

What do we do for work? We’ve done a slew of jobs! Currently, Joseph is scuba diving instructor, emergency first responder/CPR instructor. Amanda created and runs this website to help others find remote work and is a social media manager.
